"Repair Service" Hasselblad Carl Zeiss Lenses - 6 month warranty

This is a repair service and no Lens is being sold.
You are purchasing a technical evaluation for one Hasselblad lens.
In order to assess the scope of the issue, I will need to collect a non-refundable technical evaluation fee.  Most cameras will need in depth inspection which will entail partial or full disassembly.
I will put your Hasselblad Lens on my vertical collimator to make sure the optics are preforming correctly.
This evaluation is necessary to make certain that the repair is done correctly, and can take a substantial amount time and work. After the evaluation is completed, I will determine whether or not I can take on your repair, and if we decide to proceed, the cost of this evaluation will be put towards the repair.
Working with these lenses requires specialized training, and problems commonly occur when they are repaired by less-experienced technicians who are not familiar with this type of equipment. Oftentimes in these cases, the repairs will not last. I have been trained to work with these specific cameras in order to ensure that these problems do not arise.
During the repair process, the lens will be taken apart, re-lubricated on heavy-wear areas, and speeds will be tested and adjusted as necessary. The optics are checked for accuracy as well as to determine if the lens will come to infinity. This attention to detail is what will keep the lens working for many years to come.
Qualifications: I have been a repair technician for 35+ years and in the last 20 years specializing
in lens and camera repair.  I have done countless repairs from many manufacturers and have been
an authorized technician for Nikon, Canon and Sigma. I am particularly skilled at
servicing older lenses that no longer have new parts available.

The evaluation charge requires you to ship the camera to receive an accurate estimate.  A shipping label WILL NOT be provided- ship at your own cost to the address I email you.
Once your item has been received, I will provide you with an estimate within 3 business days
Approved estimates will be paid through Paypal prior to beginning of work
Declined estimates will be shipped back via economy shipping at no charge
Note: I can only offer a range of typical repairs prices until I receive the item and test it. Prices vary depending on the condition of the camera and parts needed. Once I have received your item and physically/personally evaluated it, I can provide you with a more accurate estimate.
Also, I will need to mark this purchase as shipped because of eBay policies, but cannot ship anything until I receive your equipment.
Warranty: I will repair or refund any item for up to 120 days from date of purchase if the unit fails  during normal use and is in same condition as originally sold. The warranty excludes any item that has been damaged beyond normal use such as water damage, impact damage and sand damage to name just a few. Customer will pay for return shipping.
