  • Condition: Generally in very good used / vintage condition, especially the design and text which is pristine - strong, clear colors with no fading or flaking off. There are a couple issues to note: there is a hairline crack along part of the top of the "handle" - see the last pic. We do not expect that it would become a deeper crack. There is also some light yellow discoloration in the middle of the "bowl" part, probably from ashes. It is light enough that it can barely be seen on the photo. See all pics.

    Rare Vintage German Porcelain Ashtray for Card Game Playing Stammtisch Skatrunde
    Stunning and hard-to-find German stammtisch skatrunde ashtray for cigarettes or cigars or as nostalgic decor; it came from the estate of a vintage ashtray collector.  We understand this would be used in Germany by a group of friends gathering at their reserved table (stammtisch) to play a round of the skat card game (skatrunde).  It's a sizeable, hefty, quality piece at about 6.5" tall by 8.5" diameter and weighing 2 lbs 12 oz.  Condition is used - see all pics & condition notes.
