A rare printed original lithographic poster for the London “Dream Cast” production of LES MISERABLES which celebrated it's10th Anniversary 8th October 1995, which was staged at London's ROYAL ALBERT HALL.
Featuring talents from Broadway, London’s West End & Australia’s Original cast members.
Starring: Colm Wilkinson, Philip Quast, Ruthie Henshall, Jenny Galloway, Alun Armstrong, Lea Salonga, Michael Ball, Michael McGuire, Judy Kuhn & Anthony Crivello
This one night “Dream Cast” show featured the most acclaimed original cast members. In my opinion, as well as others, this performance coined the “Dream Cast” moniker. The performers from this show were clearly selected to play their roles based upon their fan base, as well as how well they were typecasted for their role. No disrespect for the 25 year cast, but these fine & talented 10yr actors/actresses created these character roles, though all have since done a fine job following suit. This show immortalizes Les Miz! An iconic souvenir of theater memorabilia!!
The poster which was printed on a heavyweight matt board is gloss varnished and embossed with the words Les Miserables Gold Foil Blocked, in “PRISTINE CONDITION” & measures the standard 12.5”x 20” (approx) West End poster size.
This is a very rare and classy poster!!
