ANTIQUE GEORGIAN 18K GOLD HARLEQUIN MULTI GEM ACROSTIC HIDDEN LOCKET RING c1830
An antique English 18 carat gold (tests thereabouts) harlequin ring; beautifully made, with chased decoration to the shank, a hidden locket to the inner shoulder (opened by inserting a pin in to a tiny hole in the shoulder) and set with six natural gemstones (ruby, emerald, garnet & diamond ) all with foiled, closed back settings (the first letter of each stone may spell a secret sentiment).
Fabulous original quality, extremely scarce & immensely collectible...so wearable too!
CONDITION
: Generally very good. Slightest signs of wear & tarnish commensurate with age and use. Some minor nibbling & abrasions to stones, a few small chips to diamond. A couple of stones possibly old replacements.
DATE/MARKS
: Around 1820/30. Not marked.
DIMENSIONS
: Approx. 4.7 mm wide (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.

: N or 7 US (cannot be resized).
WEIGHT
: Approx. 2.4 grams.
