A scarce antique English high carat gold (tests around 22 carat) heart shaped Stuart crystal locket, holding a woven hair memento topped with an enameled copper skull & cross bones. The locket hinges open if desired.
Terrific quality, immensely collectible & wearable too!
CONDITION
: Generally very good. Slightest signs of wear & abrasions commensurate with age and use. Tiny loss to enamel.

: Early/mid 18th Century. Not marked.
DIMENSIONS
: 29 x 18 mm overall (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.
