NEW IN UNOPENED BOX
is a Collector Edition,40th Anniversary Barbie.  Barbie is wearing a gorgeious black flock bodice shimmering with silvery glitter, which is reminiscent of her original debut in 1959 striped-pattern bathing suit.  Barbie's slim silhouette gorwn of black organza spills to a delicate tulip shaped hemline.  The neckline is sheer fabric and ties at the shoulders.  She is wearing dangly "diamond" earrings (not real diamonds) and a soft French twist hair style.  Barbie is carrying a bouquet of 40 long stem roses wrapped with a silver bow and a card that says "Happy Anniversary" on it.  Her arms are sheathed in sheer black opera-length gloves.  A miniature replica of the original 1959 doll and package are included.
The box is in excellent condition and the doll is part of a private collectors collection (mine).  It has never been on display and has been stored in a box with other collectible dolls in an air conditioned and smoke free room.
